The King's Speech

I am back!  I sincerely apologize for not updating this blog sooner.  My writing of my first short film is coming to a finish, and I should be back into the groove of blogging regularly.  Today, I watched The King's Speech and was once again dazzled by Tom Hooper, who directed the film.  This was my second viewing of the movie, and I was just engrossed by the acting, and writing of this film.  Now right now I am kind of Tom Hooper kick, with the release of Les Miserables.  So I was compelled to see The King's Speech again.

The acting in this was flawless, Colin Firth whole heartedly deserved the Oscar he won.  I was amazed by his performance of a king of England during the eve of war with Hitler.  I was completely sucked into that world and that time period because of his performance.  Now Geoffrey Rush was superb as well, with the coy smoothness he put into the role of the king's speech therapist. Tom Hooper did an excellent job with the filming, and the movie had a great look. In conclusion The King's Speech was incredible.

I will see you all later.....
